Innov8tiveSMS Converter
Innov8tiveSMS Converter is an embedded application which converts serial data into SMS and sends these SMSs to the appropriate sites. Traditionally, external intelligent devices communicate with the attached device(s) using one serial port and send / receive SMSs on another serial port. Now these functions are innovatively combined and integrated into the modem, eliminating the need for the external intelligent device. The conversion from serial data to SMSs and vice versa is built into the Innov8tiveSMS Converter firmware application that resides within the GSM modem.
The Innov8tiveSMS Converter solution is similar to the Innov8tiveGPRS except that it uses SMS instead of GPRS to send and receive data.
